Early last month, Green Giant Pest Control Services received a call at 9:07 am from a customer located in Reading, PA stating that something was biting them and they suspected a possible flea infestation. A Green Giant Pest Control technician was on site within two hours and did not find a flea infestation, but they did find bed bug eggs on a couch.


Note the size of the eggs compared to the couch’s fiber strands. At just under 2.5mm long, they are considerably smaller than a grain of rice. The bed bug eggs indicate an increasing infestation that requires immediate control. The customer tried to control the issue themselves without any success. Our technician was able to start treating the home right away, and will continue to follow up in the coming weeks to ensure control.
